In fact, his creations were only based on real Indian dance techniques, such as <em>kathakali, bharatanatyam<\/em>, and <em>kathak<\/em>, while the dance numbers themselves were mostly his own creations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full tall\"><a href=\"https:\/\/disco.teak.fi\/asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/in147.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"379\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/disco.teak.fi\/asia\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/in147.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1137\"\/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Ram Gopal brought real Indian dances to the West <span>Author\u2019s collection<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nonetheless, Ram Gopal was a remarkable dancer. He toured the world with his own company, for which he created short spectacular pieces.
